Even Paris has adopted our LED displays to inform travelers about waiting times.

The RAPT (Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens) group has decided to adopt smart displays for the stops of the new tram line.

The supply consists in about a hundred LED displays for outdoor use, connected to a central system via Ethernet and located at the various tram stops. They are capable of displaying information regarding trolley cars in transit and their waiting times in real-time.

The solution guarantees reduced maintenance costs thanks to the ability to remotely monitor the entire system. Consequently, it is possible to optimize direct maintenance interventions, which can therefore be performed only in case of an actual device failure.

Because of their specific architecture, the use of LED displays allows for outstanding legibility of information, even with difficult environmental conditions, such as in direct sunlight. It also keeps in mind safety (multilayered frontal protective glass) and structure sturdiness. Such displays represent a noticeable improvement in terms of information legibility and usability when compared to the previously used LCD displays.
