How to simplify finding available parking in the city


To unify parking signals in the urban area, to reduce the traffic caused by vehicles searching for available parking spaces, to inform drivers with regard to specific events, to have a complete view of the parking situation


To create the system, 53 InfoPark indicators were distributed throughout the city. The indicators, customized with the screen printed names of the managed parking areas, are of various types: dynamic indicators, static indicators, indicators with Variable Message Displays and mixed indicators.

Case Study Monza

The city of Monza offers drivers various solutions for parking and managed parking areas. To improve the service and to put forth a more modern and efficient image of the city, a centralized system was adopted for broadcasting information to direct vehicles towards available parking.


The chosen InfoPark solution is made up of 50 indicators distributed throughout the city with the purpose of giving directions regarding 11 different parking areas.

The adopted indicators have been customized with screen printed names of the different parking areas and have different characteristics: dynamic indicators are installed along with static indicators, indicators with Variable Message Displays and mixed indicators.


Because of the variety of devices installed, the design phase is of fundamental importance.

Once information was collected from the customer, by means of various surveys, 53 architectural designs were created and subject to approval.

The directing system interacts dynamically with the 11 parking structures, each characterized by a different management system.


Furthermore, for checks regarding parking areas that are not equipped with a management system, Solari di Udine has installed Parking Sensors in those areas to automatically count the number of vehicles entering and exiting the area itself and then communicate that information to the central software.


The Control Software, installed in the main office, can be used by operators for monitoring and managing the system by means of available workstations in the various operational branches.


Through Solari di Udine’s integrated solution, the customer is able to reach all desired objectives by providing drivers with an efficient system and punctual information.
